Deadly Premonition Origins is available now via the Nintendo eShop as a digital download. It’s coming to the Nintendo Switch as a physical edition in North America this November.
Aksys Games made the announcement during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation. They also announced a long-awaited sequel to the survival horror game.
Deadly Premonition Origins allows fans and newcomers alike to play the original Deadly Premonition, which was released on the Xbox 360 back in 2010, on the go for the first time.
Aksys says that a premium edition is also planned with more details promised for a later date. In the meantime, here’s a description of the game from the developers:
Directed by video game industry legend SWERY65 (‘D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die’, ‘The Good Life’), Deadly Premonition has the player guide FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan as he investigates the identity of the Raincoat Killer. Interact with a roster of eccentric, memorable characters, fight off peculiar paranormal forces, and stare into cups of coffee to solve the case in this legendarily off-the-wall title.
The Switch digital version retails for $29.99 through the Nintendo eShop. It requires 6.4GB of free space.
