Nupixo Games and Red Deer Games announced today that their collaborative project, Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders, is a point-and-click adventure game coming to consoles next month. This journey will transport us to ancient China, where we will step into the shoes of detective Di Renjije to solve a series of mysteries in the Chinese capital.

Be a detective in ancient China

During the Tang Dynasty, someone kills young ladies in the Chinese capital, leaving cards with riddles and warnings at the crime scene. Following a daringly solved case, Empress Wu Zetian assigns newly minted but skilled young detective Di Renjije the responsibility of determining the identity of the assassin.

In Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders players will uncover the truth behind the crimes, learn the true intentions of the politicians and defeat their demons as they collaborate with China’s first and only empress during the unique times of the Tang Dynasty. As Detective Di we will have to investigate the crime scenes by talking to witnesses using the available dialogue options. Find evidence and objects relevant to the investigation. Draw the right conclusions by filling in the deduction board to accurately recreate the events of the past.

A success with PC gamers

Nupixo Games’ next title was successfully financed on Kickstarter and greenlit by Steam users. It presently has a Steam user score of 90% and a Metacritic score of 80%.
