CNet is reporting that Factor 5, the developer of the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron games on GameCube, will switch gears from Xbox 360 development to exclusive development for the PS3.
“I was shocked by how powerful the new consoles are,” said Julian Eggebrecht, president of Factor 5. “They should really free our development.”
While they have worked with Microsoft on the 360, he found that the PS3 offered more processing power. The additional performance allows the developers to more easily simulate the real world for a better game experience, he said.
