Players can try up to three hours of Diablo II: Resurrected for free.

Microsoft and Activision Blizzard announced today that Diablo II: Resurrected is free to play for a limited time on Xbox One and Xbox Series X. The classic action role-playing game is free to try for up to three hours. The free trial runs from March 15 until March 21.

“For both veterans and new players, the world of Sanctuary has much to behold,” Xbox Wire says. “Plunge into an epic story with fully remastered 3D graphics, audio, and brand-new cinematics; fighting the denizens of the Burning Hells as you quest east to uncover the fate of the Dark Wanderer.”

You can download Diablo II: Resurrected for free through the Xbox Store. Any progress made while exploring Sanctuary and conquering the many evils that lurk within will be carried over if you choose to proceed past the trial period and delve deeper into this story of darkness.

Diablo II: Resurrected is a remaster of the classic ARPG. In addition to Xbox consoles, it’s also available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
