E3 2020 registration now open

E3

If you’re planning on attending E3 2020, registration for the convention is now open.

The ESA opened registration yesterday through the E3 website. While the show was traditionally a closed-door event for industry insiders, the show has also opened its doors to the general public in recent years.

It’s still the case that only gaming industry professionals receive complimentary entry. However, a “Gamer Badge” entitles anyone with $165 to attend the show June 10 and 11. Gaming press and “Premium Badge” holders have the show all to themselves on June 9.

If you’re loaded, a Premium Badge costs $995 a person. It entitles you to attend all three days of the show. In addition, you’ll gain access to a VIP Lounge, catered breakfast and lunch daily, a CEO VIP reception, access to LA Live, and more.

We’ve previously reported that Sony is skipping E3 again, despite the upcoming PS5 launch. But there should still be plenty of news from Microsoft, Nintendo, and third-party publishers.
