EA Play Live coming in July

EA Play Live

The world’s largest third-party game publisher, Electronic Arts, has announced the date for EA Play Live 2021.

“EA Play Live is coming back July 22nd. Save the date!” the company says in a tweet.

EA has not offered any plans for the show at this point, but we are expecting an all-digital event. Expect to learn more about Madden NFL 22, FIFA 22, and Battlefield 6. We may also finally learn more about Skate 4.

As we’ve previously reported, EA is not attending E3 2020. EA Play Live is their de facto replacement, even though it is coming over a month later. We’ll let you know when we learn more!

My Take

A potential advantage of EA Play Live in July is that they will not compete for the spotlight with dozens of other games and companies. It provides uninterrupted coverage of their upcoming titles. Or people could be too busy enjoying the summer to tune in?
