Elden Ring delayed until February 2022

The developers behind Elden Ring announced today that the game is delayed until February 2022.

The Elden Ring team tweeted out the following short statement to fans:

Elden Ring will release on Feb 25, 2022, as the depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations. Thank you for your trust & patience. We look forward to seeing you experience the game in the Closed Network Test in Nov.

Elden Ring was previously announced for January 21, 2022. It’s coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

I think that fans will agree that a one-month delay is not a big deal.
