Later this summer, the studio behind the hit indie game My Time at Portia releases a new game called Ever Forward. A demo for the puzzle-platform adventure game is available now on PC.
In Ever Forward, players impersonate Maya, a twelve-year-old girl lost on the edge of dreams and reality. As they unveil the mysteries of her subconscious, players unlock her memories step-by-step and progressively face her fears and sorrows. By facing challenging puzzles and exploring environments, you slowly reveal the secrets buried in Maya’s heart.
According to indie developer Pathea Games the demo lets fans experience nearly 40 percent of the entire game. It challenges players to eight intricately designed puzzles. At the same time, players will be able to immerse themselves with the game’s dual environments and dive into the main character’s memories and secrets.
Ever Forward launches this summer on PC via Steam for $14.99. The free demo is out now. The game will arrive on PS4, Switch, and Xbox One in late winter 2020.
