FIFA 21, Europa Universalis, and more games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May 2023

Microsoft has announced that several games are leaving Xbox Game Pass for console, cloud, and PC. The games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May 2023 include FIFA 21, Europa Universalis, Floppy Knights, and more.

Here are the games that are leaving later this month and when:

May 15

  • Europa Universalis (PC)
  • Evil Genius 2: World Domination (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • FIFA 21 (Console and PC) EA Play
  • Floppy Knights (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Lawn Mowing Simulator (Cloud, Console, and PC)

If you haven’t beaten these games, you still have a few days to do so. Of course, new games come just as old games leave. Recently added titles or games coming soon include Monster Hunter Rise, Persona 4 Golden, and more.

My Take

No one ever wants to see games leave the service, but alas they do. In my opinion, the biggest loss here is Europa Universalis. The good news is that new games are added every month as well.
