Seasoned adventurers and newcomers alike can now explore the world of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition. The game launched today on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Android, and iOS.
The remaster of the GameCube action-RPG allows adventurers to team up online. Unfortunately, the game lacks the couch co-op that was the hallmark of the original, but you can still play with friends online.
Alongside updates to the visuals and audio, the remaster features a number of enhancements. Character voiceovers, online multiplayer with cross-play, new items, and challenging new dungeons and bosses.

Mimic Feature
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition introduces a brand-new Mimic feature, which allows players to take the form of various characters they meet on their journey. By collecting stamps and visiting Moogle Houses or completing difficult dungeons, players acquire unique crystals. These allow them to change their appearance into that of their favorite characters.
Lite Edition
As we previously reported, you can play through the first three dungeons for free in both single-player and online multiplayer. Additionally, players who purchase the full game will be able to host multiplayer sessions with players using the Lite Edition.
It’s even possible for a full party of up to four to play through up to 13 dungeons together with one copy of the full game. Plus, save data carries over from the demo. So players can pick up where they left off if they choose to buy the full game.
