Final Fantasy VII: Remake named best of show at E3 2019

E3 2019 ended a little over two weeks ago, but the Game Critics Awards have just named Final Fantasy VII: Remake the best of show.

In addition to Best of Show, Final Fantasy VII: Remake also took home the honors for Best Console Game and Best RPG from the Best of E3 2019 Game Critics Awards, an independent group of more than 60 global media and influencer outlets.

Square Enix showed off a new trailer during E3 and announced a release date. The game will be coming out on March 3, 2020 on PS4.

The Outer Worlds, which is an upcoming RPG from Obsidian, won the award for Best Original Game. Here are some of the other winners:
