Dead Space Remake

After so many rumors and leaks in the hours leading up to the EA Play Live 2021 event, we were all taken aback to see that the iconic tale had returned

After all the speculation, filtering, and rumors, it’s only natural that EA would respond to the anticipated return of the Dead Space series. Today, as part of the EA Play Live 2021 event, which included titles such as Grid: Legends, Apex Legends, Battlefield 2042, Knockout City, and Lost in Random, a trailer for the Dead Space Remake was released.

An epic comeback

As we can see, EA has released a teaser for the game, which appears to be a relaunch of the series, as rumored a few days ago. We will be able to experience the rebirth of Dead Space, but with current Motive Studios technology, since the remake will include the recently updated Frostbite game engine.

“We’re looking at what can be taken and reinjected into the first game from a future standpoint. We’re also learning from mistakes such as microtransactions, which we will not have, for instance, in our game.” Stated Senior producer Phil Ducharme in an interview with IGN following the game’s teaser presentation.

Motive is also collaborating closely with Dead Space fans, bringing some of them into the early phases of creation to provide feedback on the evolution and modernization of the original game.

All that remains is to wait for an announcement of the release date and whether or not it will include versions for all consoles and PC.
