Fishkeeper is a new aquarium sim coming to PC

Fishkeeper

If you like the concept of economic strategy game meets aquarium simulator, well… Fishkeeper is for you!

Okay, so I do find large aquariums to be fascinating – especially places like Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium where you get a large variety of species. I can’t say that I’ve ever wanted to maintain one of my own though. So I guess a video game is the next best thing?

In Fishkeeper, players take care of multiple aquariums, providing fish and other animals with food, suitable conditions, and nice company. Multiply and sell the best specimens at auctions, buy better equipment, rare species, and build bigger tanks. The goal is to develop an aquarium empire.

If you’re wondering, the game has a large variety of animals, both freshwater and marine. The game has fish, coral, shrimp, snails, and other aquatic species. There are also plant species.

A release date has not yet been announced.
