For Honor gets 4K enhancements on PS5 and Xbox Series X

For Honor PS5 Xbox Series X

Ubisoft is releasing a new For Honor update that enhances the experience on next-gen consoles.

The new update is available at each respective console launch. It will make the game playable on Xbox Series S in 1080p resolution. It will run at 4K resolution on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Not a next-gen version

Current-gen game owners on PS4 and Xbox One will be able to play For Honor on next-gen consoles for free through next-gen backward compatibility. However, it’s important to note that this is not a new next-gen version of the game.

“There is no next-gen version launching,” a Ubisoft PR rep confirmed in an email to Game Freaks 365. “The current-gen version will be available through backward compatibility on next-gen with all the enhancements.”

Additional benefits

Current-gen owners’ player profiles, including all purchases and inventory, are automatically shared with their next-gen counterparts. Additionally, 60 FPS gameplay will be available for all next-gen consoles in early December for the start of For Honor‘s upcoming season.
