Re: Payday 2 is very cheap on Steam!

Wow, that's pretty cheap! Can't really say no at that price... I'm not super into heists but I'm kind of getting into them. I've started playing the Thief series recently, which is more about classic stealth, but it puts me in the mood for stealing I guess. The summer sale seems to be good this year...

Re: Gaming Controllers

Hmm, if you'd need to import it, I'm not too sure what I'd recommend. The F310 is great for me but I think it comes down to luck as to whether you experience any problems. Some people have reported problems with deadzones and say that up to 20% of the analog sticks are unresponsive. I mean mine clea...

Re: What game from the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase has you most excited?

Probably Ark 2 to be honest. Some of the other games there look great but I'm not super into FPS games. I enjoyed Ark but had the usual problems of balance, bugs, grind etc. Ark kept up with its updates and always added something new. I'm interested to see what direction they go in for Ark 2. Pentim...

Re: Gaming Controllers

Hey I'm actually the same as you here! I used to own Playstations when I was younger so I prefer the PS layout. It's difficult to find though. I will mention that I have small hands so I tend to look for controllers based on that. If you have bigger hands, take care. The one I use the most often is ...

Re: The terrifying villain from No Country For Old Men (2007)

Really enjoyed that movie as well. I actually watched it for the first time last year and it certainly deserves to be called a classic. I find it really hard to get sucked in by action movies because the tension just isn't there for me, or there's too much going on. But the way they set up those sho...

Re: Nintendo forces YouTube musician to remove Metroid covers

Not the first time and not the last I guess... Nintendo is really aggressive with this nowadays. I've seen Disney do similar things before as well. I really don't get the benefit of them doing this. Surely having an enthusiastic fanbase will only help them? How many times have you gotten interested ...

Re: Elden Ring Seamless Co-Op Mod

It uses Steam to connect players, so yeah, it'll be compatible. I checked it out again and the mod creator provided a lot of details regarding banning. The mod actually disables anticheat and doesn't connect you to FromSoft's servers in the first place. So if you like invasions, it's not any good fo...

Re: What do you think of the mobile versions of FPS/Battle Royale games?

I'd say I agree with a lot of people here already. Anything with a complex control scheme is going to give me trouble on mobile. I'm pretty KBM bound in general and I don't even like using controllers unless I have to. What I do enjoy on mobile are story games, puzzle games, and slightly more casual...

Re: Future of VR Tech?

I do agree with you here - it seems like a rather clunky technology to use at the moment. I'm reluctant to buy one just in case I'm one of the people who get motion sickness (it doesn't seem to be rare), or have other problems like discomfort after a session, like you mentioned. It doesn't help that...

Re: What's Your Dream Pokémon Team?

I haven't played (mainstream) pokemon for a while, and the last game I spent a lot of time in was Black and White (Gen V), so my picks are all from that or earlier. I also tend to pick my favorites and just make them work regardless of viability haha - so this team isn't related to meta or anything,...
