Game of the Year Tournament Championship Round Voting Begins

Let the voting begin! After two months of match-ups between the top games of 2008 the Game of the Year Tournament is coming to a close on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. The Semi-Finals have concluded with only two games left: Metal Gear Solid 4 and Fallout 3. These final two games remaining in the tournament are both #1 seeds.

Metal Gear Solid 4 knocked off Super Smash Bros. Brawl 52% to 48% in the Semi-Finals. Fallout 3 got to the Championship Round by defeating Gears of War 2 by a 53% to 47% margin. The two remaining contenders will face each other in voting all weekend with polls closing at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday night. Only one can be named the Game of the Year.
