Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum is out now.
Today’s the day! The folks at iam8bit are launching Retrotainment Games’ love letter to NES gaming, Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum.
This is a platforming adventure where four heroes from Topps’ controversial trading-card series travel through time to find the materials needed to craft a recipe for Mad Mike’s beloved stale gum. Players can swap between Mad Mike, Patty Putty, Leaky Lindsay, and Luke Puke at will, adding a layer of strategy to the game. Garbage Pail Kids cards can be discovered and traded with NPCs, and several minigames to add even more variety.
The digital edition is available today on PC via Epic Games Store and Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. It is available for $9.99 as a digital download.
