A pair of new trailers show off Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4 running on the just-released Xbox Series X.
The two games – which are among the top games on Xbox One – both received enhancements on Microsoft’s next-gen console. For Gears 5, that means support for Quick Resume, variable refresh rates, and 120 FPS in versus. Plus, the game runs at 4K resolution.
“Gears 5 has been upgraded and optimized to take advantage of the power of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S,” Microsoft says on Xbox Wire. “If you are making the transition to next-gen from Xbox One, all it takes is a push of a button to download the update.”
Both Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4 support Smart Delivery. This means that existing owners of the games on Xbox One receive a free next-gen upgrade. They’re both also free with Xbox Game Pass.
