Gears 5 is free to play for the next week

Gears 5

If you’ve yet to play Gears 5, now is a good time. The game is featured as part of Xbox Free Play Days.

Xbox Live Gold members can play Gears 5 starting today. The free play period runs through April 12, so you have plenty of time to get a feel for the game. The game was already free to play for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

In addition, the game is also on sale at the Microsoft Store for $29.99. Meanwhile, the Ultimate Edition is on sale for $43.99.

If you already own Gears 5, it’s a good time to get back in the game. Operation 3: Gridiron just launched recently. It brings a new single-life objective mode with two teams fighting to run a neutral flag into their opponent’s end zone.

Finally, you can earn up to 500 Microsoft Rewards points with a new punch card as part of the Microsoft Rewards app on Xbox One. To earn the 500 points, you’ll need to watch the new Operation 3 Gridiron trailer, earn any new achievement, and watch Gears 5 on Mixer.
