Gerda: A Flame in Winter

Gerda must struggle to save her loved ones while being true to herself, armed only with her wits and the wisdom of her society. A story portrayed in the intimate context of the small Danish community where she grew up, rather than on the front lines.

Gerda’s personality qualities are her abilities, and her relationships with others will influence how the story plays out. Exploration, dialogue, and resource and relationship management are all used to make decisions. In times of turbulence and war, every problem is a challenge, and every decision is crucial, and this game is always asking us a roundabout question: How far will we go for our loved ones? We’ll have to wait until next year to find out.

In 2022, Gerda: A Flame in Winter will be released on Nintendo Switch and Steam for PC.
