To anyone that picked up Pokemon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS; there’s a nifty, limited-time distribution for a Shiny Beldum, available for download via “Mystery Gift” in the main menu of either game.
As an added perk, the free Pokemon comes with its own Mega Stone – the “Metagrossite” – which allows its final form, Metagross, to “Mega Evolve” and become even more powerful.
All you need to do is connect your 3DS to a WiFi connection and select the Mystery Gift option to receive your Shiny Beldum, the first-stage form of the Steel/Psychic powerhouse Metagross. Check out the promotional trailer for Shiny Beldum below:
It’s hard to argue that Shiny Mega Metagross sounds pretty stupid out loud, but looks like a total badass in the latest Pokemon re-makes.
