I ain’t afraid of no ghosts, at least in Rocket League. That’s because Ghostbusters is coming to this year’s Haunted Hallows event.
This year’s Haunted Hallows event kicks off tomorrow at noon Eastern. Players can complete event challenges to unlock items from the classic horror-comedy and enjoy limited-time Halloween-themed game modes and Ghostbusters goodies. You may recall that last year’s event featured a Stranger Things theme.

Once Haunted Hallows is live, the event challenges will be available to complete. Finish each challenge to unlock a specific item, like the Ghostbusters Wheels, Slimer Topper, Mood Slime Boost, and more! Plus, Golden Pumpkins are also granted for completing challenges, and contain items from the Turbo, Nitro, and Vindicator Series.
Check out two featured limited time modes throughout Haunted Hallows. Haunted Heatseeker will be live the same day and time as the event, followed by Spike Rush on night map variants beginning October 26.
Rocket League is now free to play, so anyone can check out this event. Plus, the game does not require PlayStation Plus or Nintendo Switch Online. However, you do still need Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to play on Xbox.
