The action-adventure RPG Glory Hunters has a Kickstarter campaign that’s now live.
Mexican indie studio 2think has opened the Kickstarter campaign for the physical distribution of Glory Hunters in collaboration with Bitmap Soft. The campaign is dedicated to the game’s physical release as well as the completion of the game’s development.
A new 8-bit RPG
This all new action-adventure RPG for the original Game Boy comes with a unique and original twist: you progress through the game through achievements. In addition, players have complete freedom to explore numerous places, each with its own set of mini-games, adversaries, and amusing characters. Spend glory points to customize your own adventure.
The Glory Hunters Kickstarter campaign went live on Sunday. They have a nearly $40,000 goal. So far, after just one full day, they have already raised almost half of their goal. At the time of publication, they raised $18,610.
The plan is to release a Game Boy ROM and Steam version. $9.80 will get you a digital version of the game while a physical cartridge requires a minimum $70 pledge. The developers say that they hope to eventually make a Nintendo Switch version as a stretch goal.
