The development of the PC version has taken at least two years.
The time has finally come for Kratos to make his PC debut. Jetpack Interactive and Santa Monica Studio have announced that the PC edition of God of War – which first launched on PS4 in 2018 – is now available. This is the first time that Kratos appears on the PC.
Jetpack Interactive, a business that has previously worked with corporations like EA, Bandai Namco, and others, is in charge of this adaptation, which is overseen by Santa Monica Studio. The adaption of the controls to the keyboard and mouse was the emphasis of the creators for this edition.

Of course, in addition to this strategy, both development companies wanted to make the most of the PC platform’s performance and visuals. Both production companies have taken this into consideration since the PC version of the game has required two years of continuous development.
Players who prefer to play using a controller will be able to do so with a PS4 DualShock, an Xbox One controller, a PS5 DualSense, or even a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con, in addition to keyboard and mouse gaming.
