God of War: Ragnarök trailer sets the stage for the game’s story

God of War: Ragnarök

In less than seven minutes, Santa Monica Studios brings us Myths of Midgard, the next adventures of Kratos and Atreus.

Few hack ‘n slash game stories have completely captivated gamers. But, from the beginning, Santa Monica Studios presented us with a video game that would go down in history: God of War. It’s a story that began in 2005, and 13 years later had a new direction.

In November, new adventures will come from the hand of Kratos and Atreus in God of War: Ragnarök. Therefore, today PlayStation has released a new trailer reviewing the story of the next game in the series. The renowned actress, Felicia Day, along with the beloved Mimir, in less than seven minutes, put us in tune with fewer than three months to launch.

The Fimbulvetr is here

If you played the God of War reboot in 2018, or you are being introduced to the franchise for the first time, this summary will be very useful. Felicia Day and Mimir remind us in summary form what Kratos and Atreus have experienced since Baldur came into their lives. In addition, they reveal a bit of the next adventure that we will live with a controller in hand.

Connoisseurs of the franchise know what a great job Santa Monica Studios does with the God of War stories. Few games in recent years have made us feel what God of War did in this new original storyline. Therefore, expectations for God of War: Ragnarök are very high. And it seems that Santa Monica will live up to those expectations.

In this new title, the Fimbulvetr (the prelude to the end of the world) is underway. Therefore, Kratos and Atreus will travel through each of the nine realms. It will be a journey in search of answers to what they have experienced in their past adventures. Meanwhile, the Asgardian forces are preparing for the Ragnarök (the end of the world).

On the way, we will live together with Kratos and Atreus the continuation of this father and son story. Traveling between the 9 realms, we will see unforgettable landscapes, and we will have battles full of action with these two characters. God of War: Ragnarök will arrive on November 9th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

I’m already anxious to play this new title. What about you? Let us know on the Game Freaks 365 Forums!
