Godfall‘s Fire & Darkness expansion and the free Lightbringer update are out now on PC, PS4, and PS5.
Gearbox and Counterplay Games have been hard at work on a number of Godfall-related quality of life improvements in recent months, which are now available. They have also brought the game to PlayStation 4.

Because the game is identical to what we’ve seen previously on PS5 and PC (except, of course, for visuals), more gamers who are still playing on previous generation systems will be able to play it on their PlayStation 4. Furthermore, cross-generation capability has been allowed between Sony’s two consoles, allowing players from any platform to play together and assist one another in winning the tournament or overcoming any other obstacle.
Fire & Darkness expansion
The addition of Fire & Darkness, which will unlock the Fire Realm – a location teeming with new foes to battle and where players will be able to win new prizes for their efforts – is an important new feature for all players. This implies we’ll have new tasks and sequences to complete, as well as five fearsome endgame monsters and a slew of previously unknown adversaries.
Lightbringer is a free update. It is also available starting today, offering a new mode of play with additional difficulties and prizes to be acquired based on the difficulty level selected, bringing the game’s opponents to the point where they will be the most durable in the game.
Godfall is now available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Meanwhile, the Fire & Darkness expansion is now available on all platforms for $19.99.
