GoldenEye 007

The classic first-person shooter GoldenEye 007 is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles.

Rare confirmed today that it is bringing GoldenEye 007 to Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles via Xbox Game Pass. Fans can expect a number of technical improvements on Xbox consoles and online multiplayer for Switch.

First released on the Nintendo 64 in 1997, GoldenEye was one of the most popular shooters of the 1990s. It basically introduced four-player split-screen multiplayer to the genre in what amounted to a nascent competitive gaming and esports scene.
