The story-driven, turn-based RPG Grand Guilds is out now on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
The release of Grand Guilds follows a successful Kickstarter campaign. The game comes from the Philippines-based solo developer Drix Studios and indie publisher Keybol Games. It retails for $19.99 on Steam and the Nintendo eShop.
The developers describe Grand Guilds as having unique card combat mechanics. You follow the adventures of Eliza and her crew throughout Irin, a continent on the brink of war, and unveil a mystery that’s plaguing all the guilds of the land.
“Learn and master the fundamentals of tactical combat using a diverse set of skill cards as you tailor each character’s playstyle. Each of them has unique mechanics and abilities that will help you complete procedural missions, increase your reputation, and earn bonus points,” the developer says.
Players can look forward to free DLC in the future. The first DLC is expected two months after launch. The game is also planned for eventual release on PS4 and Xbox One. However, release dates have not been announced for those versions.
