Hackers Embed Trojan on Atlus Website

Anyone that has visited the Atlus website in the past couple days should immediately do a virus scan on their computer. The company confirmed in an e-mail that hackers compromised their website’s security by installing malicious code. A number of websites provide free scans, including Trend Micro.

“A third-party entity embedded malicious code into the script, and regretfully, for a period of a few hours (from roughly 9:00am PST until 2:30pm PST), this malicious software (which we believe we have identified as a Trojan) may have made its way onto your systems,” Atlus said in an e-mail.
