Hardspace: Shipbreaker blasts out of Early Access

Space-salvaging sandbox game Hardspace: Shipbreaker has officially launched on PC.

According to Blackbird Interactive and Focus Entertainment, the 1.0 version on PC is finally here and ready to employ all players in a thrilling and one-of-a-kind space career. The game is fresh out of Steam Early Access after nearly two years of community involvement.

Experience the daily life of a working-class spaceship salvager. Hardspace: Shipbreaker is a sandbox game with next-gen physics and demolition effects set in a realistic industrial sci-fi future three hundred years from now.

The game has grown immensely since its Early Access release. It has three new ship classes as well as Ghost Ship variants. Expect improved visuals and performance, updated equipment, salvage and hazards such as the Demo Charge and radiation; a full story mode in a three-Act campaign; new characters; and the R.A.C.E, a competitive mode with time-limited challenges.

The PC version is out now on Steam. It is also in development for a future release on consoles.
