After amassing over 15 million downloads, Zynga celebrates the first anniversary of Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells.
Zynga, the global leader in interactive entertainment, announced today that their Match-3 mobile game, Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, will celebrate its one anniversary with a week of celebrations. Fans all around the world are encouraged to join the celebration, which begins today, with a seven-day slate of in-game gifts, activities, contests, and new content celebrating the occasion.
Harry Potter: Puzzle & Spells, as previously said, has pleased fans with its genuine wizarding world puzzles and gameplay. With over 2,000 puzzle levels in the main player journey, the game invites users to join in the fun and excitement of Hogwarts with fresh material and events.
A week full of events
This week, a new ‘London Zoo’ themed event in the game will allow players to gather ‘presents’ on their gameboard to win prize chests, inspired by Dudley Dursley’s most memorable birthday. Making matches adjacent to strange compartments on their gameboard to free the python within adds a serpentine edge to this birthday-themed event.
Beginning September 23rd, gamers may participate in a beloved Hogwarts tradition by completing puzzles to gain points for their house, with results logged in a global scoreboard. To commemorate the event, players who log in to the game from September 22nd to September 24th will get a daily in-game anniversary gift.
Throughout the week, visitors to the Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages will be asked to share their favorite memories from the game using the hashtag #PuzzlesAndSpellsAnniversary. Three players will be picked at random to receive an anniversary prize package that includes in-game cash, equipment, power-up bundles, and other goodies.
