Heart Chain Kitty

If you’re a fan of Super Mario Sunshine and Banjo-Kazooie, there’s a new 3D platformer coming soon to Nintendo Switch that combines the best of both worlds. It’s called Heart Chain Kitty.

Heart Chain Kitty, a 3D platformer developed by Bernhard Politsch of Origamihero Games, will be released on the Nintendo Switch next week. Super Mario Sunshine meets Banjo-Kazooie in this new ’90s and early 2000s-inspired platformer, which has 40 bizarre levels loaded with mysteries and unusual power-ups.

Kittey is a chubby blue kitty cat

Kittey’s parents are missing, and a heart-shaped stranger has arrived at Kitty Island to tell her. On his hunt for them, Kittey finds himself in a world that is falling apart.

Kittey must travel from Kitty Island to the City of Cyclopia via a comet-struck desert and the darkest depths of Darkside. You’ll be okay if you keep collecting odd Power Hearts as the walls of reality press in and the boundary between dream and waking life blurs.

As you play Heart Chain Kitty, you’ll explore more than 40 levels that take you to a variety of fantastic and colorful locations. However, you may leap between dimensions to finish extra 2D levels and unlock all of the different endings, secret levels, and bosses buried throughout the game.

Heart Chain Kitty will be available on the Nintendo Switch on August 20.
