Developer Teyon announced that its WiiWare series, Heavy Fire, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. The latest installment will utilize the handheld’s 3D effects, offering a modern combat-style shooter for action fans.
Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D will be available on the Nintendo eShop this week – September 13th – for just $4.99.
In Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D, you’ll “gear up and join an elite Special Forces unit” and engage in “arcade-style on-rail shooter” missions.
Players can choose from three different character types, each with unique attributes and abilities, to blast through “a variety of dangerous ground, vehicle and air-based stages.”
The game boasts destructible environments, and offers “additional points by blowing up the environment.” You can even increase your military rank and earn “increasingly powerful and upgradeable weapons.”
