Hitman Absolution is free on GOG

Hitman: Absolution

The stealth-action game Hitman: Absolution is free for a limited time on GOG. It coincides with that site’s Summer Sale.

The game was first released back in 2012 on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. It’s the fifth entry in the Hitman series. Critics gave the PC version mostly positive reviews. It averages a 79 out of 100 on Metacritic.

The free game offer lasts for 72 hours, so you’ll have to claim it before the weekend is over. But once you do claim it, the game is yours to keep – no strings attached.

By the way, if you’re a fan of the franchise, you’ll be happy to hear that developer IO Interactive just announced Hitman 3 for PS5. That gaming is coming out in 2021. It was revealed during Sony’s Future of Gaming event.
