If you’re a fan of hockey and sports management sims, Hockey Manager 2020 is coming to Steam on January 31.
Netmin Games calls Hockey Manager 2020 a “state of the art hockey management simulator.” The game lets you “lead your favourite club in America and Europe, control the financial aspects of your team, train the players, and manage transfers, sponsors and merchandising.”
According to the game’s developer, it features an editor where you can create any team in the world, including players, jerseys, sponsors, and referees. Additionally, it contains officially-licensed teams of the French and Spanish ice hockey leagues.
The early screenshots of the game look rough. Plus, it doesn’t feature licensed NHL teams. Still, maybe it will be a competent simulator? We’ll find out when it launches at the end of January.
