A one-of-a-kind experience
In How The Forest Was Born, you will take on the role of Leshy, a forest-keeping spirit from Slavic mythology and folklore. Plant trees, use animals to preserve the forest and make strategic decisions. How The Forest Was Born is a one-of-a-kind experience, including a rare example of a side-scrolling strategy game. Building unit bases, buying troops, defending the base, and creating resources are all familiar aspects from previous RTS games.
Furthermore, Leshy manages everything on his own and must constantly move about to keep up with the latest advancements in his territory. He may also evolve and go up the skill tree.
How The Forest Was Born was created and hand-drawn from the ground up. Traditional animation is used to bring the characters to life, while the distinctive visual style elevates the gorgeous and vibrant surroundings to a new level. If you enjoyed the game’s concept, you can check out the Kickstarter campaign and get alerted when it becomes available.
It’s expected that the game will be available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox. We’ll let you know when we learn more. So stay tuned!
