If you have not heard, Sega is giving away iconic Sonic Adventure 2 shoes as free DLC. If you’re unfamiliar, Sonic Adventure 2 was originally released on the Sega Dreamcast back in 2001. A port called Sonic Adventure 2 Battle came to GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.
The sneakers that Sonic is wearing in the game as he rushed through the streets of San Francisco are what you will get with the new DLC. So you can play Sonic Frontiers in style with this new DLC.
How to get the free Sonic Frontiers Sonic Adventure 2 DLC
All you have to do in order to get the free DLC is sign up for the newsletter on the Sonic Frontiers website. They will request your name, date of birth, and country.
The game’s community manager tweeted the following information to fans:
If you signed up for the Sonic newsletter to receive the SA2 shoes, you should be getting an email with a code for them at about 9am PST tomorrow! You still have until January 31st, 2023 to sign up – after tomorrow you’ll probably wait ~24-48 hours to get your code.
Sonic Frontiers is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
