If you are a fan of Humble Bundle, you probably know that they offer amazing deals on video games, books, and other digital content while also supporting various charities. But did you know that one of their partners is Starlight Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit that brings joy and comfort to hospitalized kids and their families?
Starlight and Humble Bundle have been working together since 2022. They have raised more than $500,000 in donations through the sales of specially curated bundles.
These donations have helped Starlight provide essential programs to children’s hospitals, such as Starlight Hospital Gowns and Starlight Deliveries.
The best Humble Bundle partnership
Starlight Hospital Gowns are high-quality, comfortable, and colorful gowns that replace the standard hospital gowns. They help kids express their personality and feel more confident during their hospital stay.
Starlight Deliveries are boxes of educational resources and supplies that are sent to hospitals to support the learning and development of young patients. They also provide socialization and emotional support to kids and their families.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Humble Bundle and its community for their generous gift to fund the distribution of Starlight Hospital Gowns and Starlight Deliveries to children in hospitals who are scared, lonely, and missing out on all of the things that make being a kid fun,” said Adam Garone, CEO of Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Humble Bundle representatives visited the Sutter California Pacific Medical Center in April to see the impact of their partnership with Starlight. This facility serves medically underserved and vulnerable populations, who benefit greatly from Starlight’s programs. In 2022, Starlight exceeded its goal and delivered 53 percent of its programs to these populations as part of its Commitment to Change initiative.
This impactful collaboration highlights all the collaborations Humble Bundle have made in the past. We hope that more companies take the big step forward and start doing partnerships or collaborations like this.
