To anyone reading this, I ask that you pray, whether you’re a Catholic, a Protestant, a Jew, a Muslim, or an atheist, pray for the people affected by Hurricane Katrina. This is quite possibly the worst disaster to ever occur on American soil, most definitely in our lifetime. This storm has affected everyone’s life in the United States.
It is being said that thousands are expected dead in New Orleans and the surrounding areas. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, are misplaced, refugees. They are homeless, some without food, water, or medical treatment. These people need help. Yes, they need your prayers, but they also need action.
