The classic 1993 pinball table will arrive for the first time in digital form.
Zen Studios revealed today on the current episode of The Pinball Show that they have partnered up with Lucasfilm Games to create a newly remastered edition of the legendary Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure. This remastered edition retains the original machine’s appearance, style, and feels while adding new capabilities and refinements.
A triumphant return for Indy
True-to-life Pro Physics simulation painstakingly built by Zen’s pinball experts, using super slow-motion imagery to record the motions of the flippers, rubbers, and balls to better understand and replicate the pinball mechanics, allows you to experience the table as you remember it. In addition, for the first time, players may experience the original music, noises, regulations, and appearance of the machine transferred into the digital environment.
This edition, as promised, includes an “improved” version in which we may play this classic title with 3D effects, ball towing effects, particle effects, side wall art, and an Indiana Jones with a whip.
Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure will be available as paid DLC for a number of Zen products. Pinball FX3 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, as well as Williams Pinball for Android and iOS devices, will be available in March 2022. It will also be available alongside the early access launch of Pinball FX on PC via the Epic Games Store. Later it’ll release alongside the official launch of Pinball FX on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Xbox One, and PS4 in summer 2022.
