Gamers can grab a free copy of Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition on PC, PS4, and Xbox 360 / One until June 25. Once you claim it, it’s yours to keep.
The Ultimate Edition includes all of the game’s DLC. You can get it for free through PC via Steam and the PlayStation Store for PS4. Xbox One owners will have to claim the Xbox 360 version via Microsoft Store. It is backward compatible with the Xbox One.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game from Chicago-based developer NetherRealm Studios, which is best known for modern Mortal Kombat games. Injustice launched back in 2013 on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. It is a critically-acclaimed game, averaging an 81 out of 100 on OpenCritic.
My Take
While it’s true that Injustice: Gods Among Us is pretty old now, it’s still a fan favorite. The game lets you play as a multitude of DC comic book characters – both iconic and more obscure. You can play as everyone from Batman, The Joker, and Superman to Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Nightwing. Plus, you can’t beat free!
