Insurgency Sandstorm, the tactical co-op FPS indie, is coming to consoles this month

Insurgency: Sandstorm on Consoles

Intense tactical FPS, character, and weapon customization is teased in the new gameplay trailer.

New World Interactive, in cooperation with Focus Entertainment, formerly known as Focus Home Entertainment, has released a new gameplay trailer for its indie smash-hit FPS Insurgency: Sandstorm. Insurgency: Sandstorm, which is already available on PC and has been played by millions, is a gritty tactical first-person shooter set in a current, fictitious Middle Eastern conflict where two groups battle it out in intense firefights where every bullet is felt, and every impact is dreaded.

A must-play in the tactical FPS genre.

The game’s low time-to-kill and immersion-focused gameplay favors tactical and deliberate play over run-and-gun shooting. Every mission has a goal and may be completed in full-scale PvP fights or up to 8-player co-op.

Each weapon’s movement, sound, and ballistics have been meticulously designed and reproduced in the game to prioritize immersion, authenticity, and attention to detail. The game provides a plethora of tactical and strategy options that simulate military strategies used on battlegrounds, which distinguishes it from other titles in the genre.

Characters and weapons are modifiable, but must be made strategically.
