Intertial Drift is a twin-stick arcade racing game with split-screen multiplayer

Inertial Drift is a new arcade-style racing game set in a ’90s retro-future. It’s coming to PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

The twin-stick racing game has you control your vehicle with the left analog stick and drift with the right. It looks like a fairly unique take on the genre. Whether it is intuitive or not is another matter entirely.

Inertial Drift offers a whole new level of accessibility and challenge to the arcade racing genre – for a driving experience genuinely unlike anything you’ve played before,” publisher PQube Games claims.

The game has sixteen unique cars to drive with their own characteristics. You’ll race on twenty different courses set in a variety of landscapes, including urban and rural. It will also have split-screen multiplayer, which is increasingly overlooked in favor of online play.

Inertial Drift is scheduled to launch in spring 2020. Check out the first trailer for the game below!
