Inua launches on PC, consoles and mobile devices

Inua: A Story in Ice and Time

Experience a narrative point-and-click adventure game based on the mythology of the Great North.

Iko and The Pixel Hunt, in collaboration with ARTE France, have announced that Inua: A Story in Ice and Time is out now on several platforms. Players investigate the secrets of Canada’s far north in this new point-and-click adventure game.

Experience the magical adventures in the north

Tana, Peter, and Simon are three characters that roam the frigid expanses of the vast Canadian north at separate periods in Inua. Despite being separated by more than a century, their fates are inextricably intertwined to that of Nanurluk, the Giant Polar Bear who lived 10,000 years ago. Three people, motivated by ambition, chased and murdered it one day, upsetting the world’s peace and balance.

Inua: A Story in Ice and Time

The Franklin expedition, a 19th-century British attempt to explore the Arctic that inexplicably vanished, is the inspiration for Inua‘s screenplay. Inua‘s tale is inspired by Inuit culture and spirituality, and it chronicles the fate of this lost mission as well as the Inuit communities’ reactions to it.

The player may go from scene to scene and from period to period in this point-and-click narrative adventure game to put ideas in the brains of the characters and assist them to overcome the hurdles that stand in their way, affecting the story’s path.

Inua: A Story in Ice and Time just launched on Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS devices, and PC through Steam on February 10, 2022.
