Is Deathloop available on PS4?
Is Deathloop available on PS4 as well as other platforms? In this article, let’s see on which platforms you can play this game.
First of all, the title of this post is based on a highly asked question on the internet. Is Deathloop available on PS4? Unfortunately for PS4 users, this game cannot be played on the platform. Some of you may have seen the PS4 tag next to the PS5 tag on the PlayStation Store page of Deathloop. But in actuality, it’s not possible for the game to run on PlayStation 4. Then why does the site include the PS4 tag, you might ask?

Well, it’s because the Deluxe Edition of the game includes the soundtrack. And the soundtrack can run on PS4. Hooray. Note how only the Deathloop Deluxe Edition has the PS4 tag on the page. That’s most probably because of the soundtrack, as we discussed above.
Why Deathloop is not available on PS4
The main reason for Deathloop to not release on the PS4 platform or any other previous-gen console hardware is simply that they are too weak to run the game. Deathloop is a big game and it was made to run with the latest and greatest hardware (i.e. PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.)

It’s very unlikely that Deathloop will ever release for the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One. So I’d advise not keeping your hopes up for a release for any previous generation platforms.
What platforms can you play Deathloop on?
In the previous section, I mentioned that Deathloop can comfortably run on the PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X|S. I’ve also mentioned how it is simply not available on the previous-gen consoles and hardware. This unfortunately includes Nintendo Switch. The aforementioned platforms are the only ones that are capable of running the game.

What are your thoughts? Do you think that Deathloop will ever come to PS4? Let us know!
