Sony today announced the release of the Jak and Daxter Collection, available exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Originally created by critically-acclaimed developer Naughty Dog and remastered by Mass Media, the Jak and Daxter Collection features the first three installments of the multimillion-unit selling franchise: Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3. All three have been fully remastered in high definition on one Blu-ray Disc for just $39.99.
Each installment in the Jak and Daxter Collection offers crisp 720p high definition visuals and seamless gameplay animation. The Jak and Daxter Collection also introduces stereoscopic 3D functionality, amping up the games’ signature action and adventure with a new level of immersion. In addition, the Jak and Daxter Collection offers full PlayStation Network Trophy support, delivering over 100 custom-created trophies to unlock across all three titles in the collection.
