Janemba, Gogeta coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ

Bandai Namco announced at Evo 2019 that it is adding two new fighters to Dragon Ball FighterZ: Janemba and Gogeta.

Janemba will be added on August 8 as part of the game’s Season Pass. A specific date for SSGSS Gogeta’s release has not yet been set.

Dragon Ball FighterZ was released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch back in 2018.

According to Polygon:

Janemba’s fighting style appears to be heavily influenced by his appearance in the Dragon Ball ZFusion Reborn movie. While none of his moves were specifically outlined in the trailer, he appears to use his trademark portals to misdirect his opponents and unleash attacks from a variety of different angles. The trailer gives us a brief glimpse of Janemba in his base form, the round yellow monster, but it appears that most, if not all, of his time in fights will be spent in his more recognizable red and purple Super form.

Joining Janemba is SSGSS Gogeta. Featured in the recent film Dragon Ball Super: Broly, this version of Vegeta and Goku’s fusion is one of the strongest fighting forms that’s ever been featured in the series. The trailer doesn’t give us much of a preview of their abilities, but it does show Gogeta starting up a giant Kamehameha wave, just like they used in the against Broly.
