International video game publisher O-Games today announced that John Daly’s ProStroke Golf will ship to retail stores in North America today for the PlayStation 3. The only golf game officially endorsed by ‘The Lion’ himself, John Daly’s ProStroke Golf will be available for the suggested retail price of $49.99. From Oxfordshire-based developer Gusto Games, John Daly’s ProStroke Golf is the spiritual sequel to ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007, incorporating all the features that have made the series a hit with gamers.
The trademark ProStroke control system, a first-person view of the ball and club head, offers the closest representation of a natural golf swing available with no artificial barriers to impede shot performance. The title is also the first golf game built from the ground up incorporating PlayStation Move technology, giving PlayStation 3 system owners the ability to rotate the club head in real-time, punch and chip the ball according to the input movement, simulate weight transfer and much more.
