Frontier Developments unveiled Jurassic World Evolution 2, a new entry in their beloved dinosaur franchise at Summer Game Fest 2021.
Frontier Developments has announced Jurassic World Evolution 2, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Jurassic Park simulation game based on the Universal Pictures film franchise. This sequel will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in late 2021.
The premise is familiar. You’ll assume the role of management in the establishment of a Jurassic World theme park. What has changed is that we will be allowed to develop parks outside of the Archipelago of Death this time. Each new site will present us with a fresh situation and new difficulties to employ all of the available control tools, as well as additional creative choices.
A lot of new content
Jurassic World Evolution 2 will include new ecosystems and landscapes, such as forests and deserts, as well as more than 75 prehistoric dinosaur species, including highly sought-after sea reptiles and other flying creatures. According to Frontier Developments, animations and modeling realism have been increased, with new behaviors, interactions, and reactions; artificial intelligence has also been enhanced.
Players can expect four game modes. In terms of plot, it takes place directly after the events in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The Campaign mode will immerse us in a unique Jurassic World tale as we lead our park, maintain it, and confine the dinosaurs with a cast of recognized characters from the films such as Dr. Ian Malcolm (voiced by Jeff Goldblum) and Claire Dearing (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard).
The Sandbox mode, on the other hand, stands out, with all of the elements and tools required to create an ideal park, which will be one of the options added with the Chaos Theory mode, a reimagined version of the movie saga’s most pivotal episodes. Finally, there is a Challenge mode with a variety of challenges.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox X Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in late 2021. A specific release date was not announced at this time. We’ll let you know when we learn more.
