Kainga: Seeds of Civilization arrives on Steam Early Access next month

Rather than the long city builder formula, Kainga: Seeds of Civilization focuses on short, 30 minute to one hour tasks.
Green Man Gaming Publishing and solo game creator Erik Rempen have announced that the roguelite village-builder Kainga: Seeds of Civilization will be released on Steam Early Access in November.
Following a successful Kickstarter campaign and extensive community testing, Kainga: Seeds of Civilization will allow players to develop flourishing new societies while adjusting to the procedurally generated environment. Making the proper decisions might be the difference between a happy and prosperous village and the annihilation of your new civilization.
An interesting roguelite village-builder
Kainga: Seeds of Civilization is a roguelite village-builder set in a mysterious and surprising environment. As the Thinker, the town’s leader, you must adapt to the procedurally generated environment and surroundings. Make the proper decisions to allow your people and community to prosper.

The Thinker is in charge of relaying the decisions and instructions of the players to the populace. Although the citizens are fairly disposable, you lose if the Thinker falls. They are weak and fragile, much like the king in chess, and must be defended at all costs.
Rather than the lengthy city building method, Kainga: Seeds of Civilization focuses on short, 30 minute to 1-hour tasks. Each challenge is a unique and varied experience in a different place, allowing the player to improve between runs.
“It’s been a busy few months adding new content and balancing the game mechanics ahead of the Early Access launch, but I’m thrilled to be able to release Kainga: Seeds of Civilization into Steam Early Access on November 11th” commented Erik Rempen, solo game developer for Kainga.
“I am excited to see how everyone reacts to the challenge of creating their own unique cultures and building their new villages. But the hard work will continue as I’ll be pushing out regular content updates throughout the Early Access phase, building on the strong gameplay foundations of this initial launch,” he added.
On November 11, Kainga: Seeds of Civilization will be released on PC through Steam Early Access.
